To change your details you need to be logged in. When you are logged in you can simply click on the 'Account Details' link in the My Ad Trader box in the top left of the screen, there you will be able to change your details and even your password. Check the Terms and Conditions button and save the changes at the bottom of the page.

When you see an item that you would like to buy, or keep the details of, you can click on the "Add to Clipboard" icon displayed at the bottom of the 'Advert Details' page. To do this you must be logged in. This will keep a record of all these items until you are ready to buy. When you exit the site, your clipboard will be remembered for approximately 7 days unless the advert has expired on the site. To remove items, click on delete on the clipboard page.
Email Alert is a facility to help you find what you're looking for especially if you don't visit Ad Trader on a daily basis. Email Alert stores a search criteria set by you and then emails you daily or weekly with some adverts that have been placed since your last ealert was sent and that meets your criteria.
Example:
If you are looking for a bicycle in the Southampton area and there were
currently no matches on the Ad Trader site, you could create an eAlert
and as soon as someone places an ad for a bicycle in that area you would
be informed via email.
You can only take advantage of this feature if you are a registered user by visiting My Ad Trader. You can set-up your criteria for your e-alert by following 4 easy steps. Firstly you need to create a saved search, you can do this by clicking on the 'Save this Search' button on the adverts listing page. Alternatively add a new Saved Searched by clicking on the Saved Searched link in the 'My Ad Trader' box at the top left of the screen. Once you have a created a saved search you can then convert this to an eAlert by clicking on the eAlert icon on the right hand side of the screen.
It will continue to search for your saved search criteria for 28 days, after this period it will automatically expire. The eAlert can be reset after expiry by going to My Ad Trader.
Once you've found your bargain, or wish to discontinue this feature, simply go to your Saved Searches page and either 'delete' or 'stop' your eAlert.
